KejaCore is a property management platform built for the Kenyan rental market. Landlords manage properties, collect rent via M-Pesa, and communicate with tenants, while renters can browse and apply for listings through our public marketplace.
Creating a landlord, tenant, or explorer account is free. A small platform fee is applied to successful rent and utility payments processed through the system — this is disclosed before every transaction.
You can reach us via WhatsApp or email using the contact details in the footer of any page, or through the in-app messaging feature if you already have a landlord or tenant account.
From your Landlord Portal, go to "Listings," select a property, add photos and amenities, and switch on "Publish to public marketplace." Your property must have a pinned map location before it can go live.
Rent and utility payments collected through KejaCore accumulate in your wallet balance (minus the platform fee). You can request a payout to your M-Pesa or bank account at any time from the Payouts page; our team processes withdrawal requests within 1-2 business days.
Yes. KejaCore never stores your M-Pesa PIN or card details — all payments are processed directly through Safaricom Daraja, Paystack, or Stripe. Your personal data is encrypted and never sold to third parties.
Log in to your tenant portal, go to your unit, and tap "Pay Rent via M-Pesa." You will receive an M-Pesa prompt (STK Push) on your phone — enter your PIN to complete the payment, and a receipt is generated automatically.
Your account number is a unique reference assigned to you when you join the platform. It stays the same even if you move to a different unit or rent from a different landlord, so your payment history always follows you.
